Our prices for hiring the Manor for your wedding are outlined below. To stage other types of events such as birthdays, anniversaries, corporate events and private events please contact us with your requirements for a bespoke quotation.


ELOPEMENT PACKAGE (2 to 10 guests)

From 12pm the day of your wedding to 12pm the next day, just for you and your fiancé (or for 8 close friends or family members to join you). The package includes:

  1. Exclusive use of Pengenna Manor for your wedding for 24 hours.

  2. Use of the Master Suite to get ready for the ceremony (and another bedroom for your fiancé to use if you wish to stay separate!).

  3. Choice of three ceremony locations - two outdoors and one indoors.

  4. Co-ordination of your wedding ceremony by our team.

  5. Use of our portable professional quality amp and microphone system to play your music.

  6. Two witnesses for your ceremony (usually our proprietor Richard and his assistant).

  7. A Prosecco afternoon tea for two to enjoy after the ceremony, either as a picnic in the grounds or inside the Manor.

  8. A driver service for two if you wish to go out for dinner in the evening at one of the many fantastic local pubs and restaurants.

  9. Luxurious overnight accommodation in our Art Deco Master Suite.

  10. A delicious locally sourced hamper of breakfast goodies for you to enjoy the next morning before you depart.

For the bride and groom – £950
For every additional guest up to a maximum of 8 more – £150 per person

The package is available Wednesday and Thursday from May to September, and 7 days a week from October to April).


From 12pm the day before your wedding to 12pm the day after your wedding. The package includes:

  1. Use of either of our four licensed ceremony locations (Ceremony Garden with Summerhouse, Manor Doorway Arch, Cowyard Barn (from 2019) or Drawing Room), and seating for your ceremony, if you would like to marry here at the Manor.

  2. Use of all the available grounds around the Manor (gardens, meadows, woodland etc) for the 48 hours to use however you like (including however and wherever you’d like to stage your drinks reception and photographs).

  3. Use of our brand new Cowyard Barn and its adjacent courtyard for your drinks reception of up to 150 guests, and/or your reception dinner to accommodate up to 100 guests.

  4. Our staffed rustic pay bar in the new Cowyard Barn stocked with a simple beer, lager, cider, wine and soft drink selection (special requests can be stocked too).

  5. Use of our marquee garden to erect whatever type of marquee you would like to accommodate up to 350 guests from either of our six approved suppliers.

  6. Access for your chosen marquee company to erect your marquee the day before your hire starts (and access for them to dismantle your marquee the day after your hire finishes).

  7. Our luxurious self-catering accommodation inside the Manor for up to 10 guests (in 5 bedrooms - four doubles and one twin - and 3 bathrooms) for two nights including the stunning Art Deco Bridal Suite, the Drawing Room, the Dining Room and the fully equipped kitchen.

  8. Use of the Manor cloakroom toilet (for up to 50 guests - additional toilets will need to be hired for larger numbers).

  9. 15 hours of our time to work with you and your suppliers in the lead up to your wedding to help you organise your usage of the Manor, (including on the day management of your on-site ceremony if required).

  10. 24 hour on-site point of contact throughout your hire.

  11. Two nights FREE camping in our river meadows below the Manor for you and all of your guests.

  12. All electricity and water that you may require.

  13. Commercial waste collection and recycling of any rubbish.

  14. Parking for all of your guests.

  15. Directional signage on all local junctions leading to the Manor.

What's not included?

If you have more than 100 guests (or prefer for your reception to be in a marquee rather than the new Cowyard Barn) a marquee of the size, design and style you want to accommodate your guests for your party is required (which will come with tables, chairs, carpets, dancefloor, linings, heating, lighting etc).

A caterer to provide you and your guests with the type of food you would like (who would normally provide table linens, cutlery, crockery and glassware, and all the equipment to create a pop-up kitchen in the Cowyard Barn or marquee).

A bar or drinks for you and your guests if you are having your reception in a marquee. (We do not charge corkage and you are welcome to bring in whatever drinks you like.)

Additional toilets if you have more than 50 guests.

PLEASE NOTE: For all bookings we will also require an additional damages deposit to be paid one month prior to your wedding date of £1,000. This deposit will be fully refunded within 14 days of your wedding less any reductions if required for breakages, damage to the buildings or to the grounds, or excessive clean-up.

Accommodation at Watergate includes:

  1. Four bedrooms sleeping 8 guests (two doubles, one twin that converts to a double, and one large bunk bedroom).

  2. Kitchen, utility room, downstairs shower room, large lounge, garden room with pool table, two upstairs bathrooms.

  3. Three acres of secluded gardens with woodland, stream, meadow and patio area with BBQ.

  4. Parking for four cars.

Throughout the year if available –  £950


Extend your hire of the grounds by an extra 24 hours until 12pm two days after your wedding to continue your celebrations (perhaps with a brunch, luncheon or BBQ the day after your wedding for example).

In June, July, Aug, Sept – £800


If you are extending your hire of the grounds for another 24 hours we can offer you a competitive rate for another nights stay inside the Manor.

We got married here at the end of August and it was the most perfect location. From the beginning of the planning to the clear up of our festival wedding weekend, Richard was fantastic we couldn't have asked for more support and attention to detail. I highly recommend anyone to get married here. We felt very emotional when we eventually had to say goodbye to Pengenna on the Monday!"
